Scope and current setup

Effective October 24, 2026. This policy covers gamingisculture.com, published as Gaming Is Culture. The current site is a public article website. It has no visitor accounts, comments, newsletter signup, checkout or contact-submission form. Its article search filters content in your browser and does not submit your search to our server.

Website delivery and technical information

When you load a page or video, hosting and network providers receive technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as your IP address, requested URL and browser information. The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites infrastructure. Service providers may process operational and security logs under their own policies. See OpenAI’s privacy policy for information about its practices. We do not operate a separate visitor-profile database on this site.

Cookies, media and analytics

The current website code does not set first-party tracking cookies or load a separate analytics or advertising script. Videos and fonts are served as website files rather than embedded YouTube players. Your browser, hosting services or external services you choose to visit may have their own storage and processing practices. The AdSense verification meta tag and ads.txt file identify our publisher account; they do not themselves serve advertisements.

Google advertising: planned use

We have applied to Google AdSense; approval is pending and ad serving is not enabled in this website version. If Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to personalize ads based on those visits. Before enabling ads, we will configure the applicable consent controls and update disclosures to reflect the vendors and configuration actually used.

Advertising choices

You can review personalized-ad choices in Google My Ad Center and learn about Google’s advertising data practices at Google advertising policies. Participating third-party vendors also offer choices through the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out service. Your browser settings can manage cookies and local storage. These external controls apply under those providers’ terms and do not replace any consent choice required on this website.

External links and contacting us

Articles link to external sources, and our contact page links to LinkedIn and X. Those services receive information when you visit or interact with them, subject to their own policies. If you send us a message through an official social channel, we receive the information you include and may use it to assess your inquiry, verify a tip or respond. Please share only what is necessary and avoid posting sensitive details publicly.

Privacy inquiries and updates

For a privacy question or a request concerning information you have sent us, use the channels on our contact page and describe the request without posting sensitive information publicly. We will assess it according to the information involved and applicable requirements; we may need to verify the request. When this site’s functionality or data practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date.
